I am delighted to recommend Corby Stutzman. As an adult, who had not played for many years, I was hesitant to begin again. However, in the year and a half I have studied with her, I have brought back many pieces and learned new ones. She is a master not only of the classics, but of jazz, and uses her knowledge of musical structure and harmony to inform and enlighten as to each piece of music studied. Her suggestions are always constructive and helpful, and I leave my lessons feeling inspired. She has also encouraged me and given me confidence to play before others. On occasion, I have seen her teach children. They respond to her with the same enthusiasm I feel. I am enjoying piano as I never did before, and only regret I did not begin earlier.
