Our children have studied piano with Corby Stutzman for over four years now, and because of her, they truly appreciate music theory, practice, and performance. She keeps them focused and hard-working, and her teaching approach has resulted in their ability to have fun while learning. Corby keeps her students motivated in many ways, including the opportunity to choose their own performance pieces, and to participate in recitals twice a year. My children have also benefited from the California Certificate of Merit Program, allowing them to progress not only in playing, but in sight reading, ear training, and theory. We are grateful to Corby because our children have a deep love of piano and a pride in themselves for all that they have accomplished.
